01         What are invisible bead extensions?

02        Do extensions damage your natural hair?

03         Am I a good fit for extensions?

Invisible Bead Extensions, or IBE, are just like hand-tied wefts but take comfort, flexibility, and invisibility to a whole new level. A row of beads is strategically placed around your head in a cool horseshoe shape. Don't worry, these beads are completely hidden, so no one will even know they're there! Next, we take a weft of hair and apply it over the top and bottom of each bead, stitching them together for a seamless blend. The best part is that none of those sneaky beads come in contact with your scalp, ensuring a super natural and comfortable experience. Once the hand-tied extensions are attached, they seamlessly blend with your natural hair, giving you a look that's incredibly natural. You can treat these extensions just like your own hair—color, wash, curl, and style them however you’d like! For more information on IBE extensions, read all about them right here.

When applied and maintained correctly, extensions should not cause damage to your natural hair. However, improper installation, maintenance, or the use of low-quality extensions can potentially lead to damage.

To minimize the risk of damage, consult with a professional stylist who can guide you on the appropriate extension method, can recommend high-quality products, and provides instructions for proper care and maintenance.

Your hair and lifestyle are going to be the determining factor in you being a good fit! But, if your hair is thinning or you have allergies to adhesives, extensions may not be the best fit for you.

04         I’m so excited!! How do I book with you?

I’m so stoked to have you, mama! If this will be your first time working with me, head on over to our inquiry form and fill out the pre-consultation form to see if extensions are right for you! And for my returning babes, I’ll have a separate form for you to fill out to ensure we’re booking you under the correct service!

05         Can I wear my hair in a pony?

Yes, even with thin hair! The only exception is fine hair where you can see your scalp when you put it up, so for my fine-haired ladies, a low pony or wearing it as it naturally falls would be your best choice in not causing tension! I would advise clipping up your hair whenever possible or using ponytails that cause little to no breakage.

06         Are extensions high maintenance?

Yes and no. They can be high maintenance when you get to initially styling your new hair, but it will hold your style for DAYS.

07         How do I take care of my extensions?

Wash your hair correctly, never sleep with wet extensions, always brush with care, minimize heat damage, and try to avoid tangling when you sleep! You can help prevent tangles by placing your hair in a braid or loose twist before heading to bed.
